In The Public Eye

He had a high level of security clearance with restrictions of who he could talk to openly...

At first he only spoke in metaphors in his Intensive even though the guy who referred him told him there were no records with Maui Intensives and he could trust confidentiality with Rae and Judy. He was trained to not have feelings or self disclose. The PTSD was getting to a point where it was effecting his work. A three week Maui Intensive was enough to remove the primary threads from the fabric of his trauma to unravel the fight response. He was able to communicate more intimately with his wife and started making changes in his life that he had previously decided may never be possible. HMR is an effective tool for resolving trauma without needing to relive or revisit it.

Political families have particular needs for confidentiality and are under constant public scrutiny...

Unfortunately, we live in a world where privacy is so often not possible and innocent children who's parents are in the public eye often don't get the help or privacy they deserve. The teenage daughter in this particular family needed confidential therapy to save her life from an eating disorder. Her schedule and personal needs, along with the family's rigorous itinerary, were such that it made more sense for Rae and Judy to travel to her family home. The Intensive was efficient allowing family members to be included when constructive for successful treatment. Once her relationship was established with Rae and Judy, she was able continue sessions as needed over Skype.
